After we finally got the 360 in the car and got that running properly by late summer, it was obvious that the 904 transmission wasn’t a happy camper anymore. This was clear when it couldn’t decide which gear to run , jumping back & forth in between gears.
I might have fried it when running it without a correctly adjusted kickdown-linkage but no one knows for sure. It doesn’t matter anyway, as it needs a rebuild now.
I’m still not sure which rebuild kit to get but as I’ll be going to California in a couple of weeks, the plan is to pick up everything we need (and some more fun stuff).
